Goss Told To Rest

Former Queensland Labor Premier Wayne Goss has been ordered to rest for at least two months after surgery to remove a brain tumour in September, his wife Roisin said yesterday.

Speaking at a Labor Party function in the southern Brisbane suburb of Hillcrest last night, Mrs Goss said her husband was continuing to make "a very good recovery" and his doctors were pleased with his progress.

"The doctors have advised that Wayne will need a quiet environment for the next two to three months while he continues his recovery," Mrs Goss said.
